About Last Night

Home teams fight back
Going 3-0 behind is a death knell in the NBA Playoffs, but the 76ers and Mavericks both avoided that fate on Friday night, winning at home to claw back to 2-1 behind against the Heat and Suns respectively. The Suns remain favorites for the championship at FanDuel Sportsbook with +230 odds, with the Warriors at +300 and the Celtics and Heat both at +500.

Rays pull out another road win
Friday’s MLB slate was affected by 6 postponements, but there was plenty of drama in the late games, with the Rays hitting a 3-run homer in the 9th to beat the Mariners 8-7 and the Cardinals beating the Giants 3-2 in the 9th in a game that had been tied at 2-2 since the 5th inning.

Bruins get huge home win
Three of the 4 road teams won in the NHL playoffs on Friday, with the Maple Leafs, Wild and Oilers all going 2-1 up in their series, but the home team who needed to win most, the Bruins, got what they wanted with a 4-2 victory against the Hurricanes to pull the series back to 2-1 to Carolina. The Pickswise team went 3-1 on the sides on Friday night.

Best Bet of the Day

Crystal Palace ML vs Watford
10:00 am ET, Peacock

Watford is on the brink of relegation from the EPL after losing 5 straight games and is likely to be pushed back into the Championship with a loss to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park today. The Hornets have used another 3 managers this season in a desperate effort to retain their Premier League status but none of the changes has worked. Palace is hunting a top-half finish and should improve its chances with another win. Read our full game preview for Watford vs Crystal Palace.
