NFL news
The NFL doesn’t like other sports hogging the headlines, and Friday brought another blockbuster trade as Deshaun Watson chose the Cleveland Browns as his next team ahead of the Saints and Falcons, in a deal involving 3 first-round picks. The Browns’ Super Bowl odds have dropped to +1600 at FanDuel Sportsbook, although Watson, who sat out last season with the Texans, could yet face a suspension of undetermined length for off-field issues.
Best Bet of the Day
Saint Mary’s Gaels +3 vs UCLA Bruins
7:10 pm ET, TBC
The Gaels have the talent and moxie to get to the Final Four, and all of it was on full display in their 29-point drubbing of Indiana. UCLA looked shaky at times against Akron, especially on offense, being held to under 60 points for the first time all season. The Zips’ defense is strong, but it pales in comparison to that of Saint Mary’s, which has already held Gonzaga to under 60 earlier this season. Read our full game preview for Saint Mary’s vs. UCLA.
