Best Bet of the Day
MLB: Seattle Mariners ML over Texas Rangers (-140)
4:05 pm ET, BSSW
The Mariners have won both games of the series so far, extending their winning streak to 12 games and will be looking to solidify the series win — and 13 straight — before the finale on Sunday. The Rangers will be looking for any type of win to try to reclaim 2nd place in the division and draw closer to a wild-card spot prior to the all-star break. Projected starting pitchers are right-hander Logan Gilbert for the Mariners and right-hander Spencer Howard for the Rangers. Gilbert has been an ace for Seattle all season, going 10-3 in 18 starts with a 2.80 ERA and 1.17 WHIP. Howard has been inconsistent throughout the year. He was placed on the 10-day IL early on and then sent to the minors. Gilbert just recently got called back up and in 2 July starts is saddled with a 5.00 ERA and a 1.56 WHIP. Count on the M’s continuing the streak. Read our full Mariners vs Rangers preview.
