Super Bowl LVI is still a week away, but there is plenty of basketball to pick up the slack this weekend. We also have the Pro Bowl to look forward to on Sunday. As such, let’s not waste any time and get right to making your next bet better. Here is our latest installment of Wise n’ Shine!
About Last Night
Three NCAAB parlays in the last four days
We have now cashed three college basketball parlays since Tuesday following Friday night’s success with Richmond, Seton Hall, and Fresno State. All three of those teams won and covered for a payout of +622. Overall, the Pickswise college basketball experts went 4-0 ATS on Friday.
Nets losing streak hits 7
The Nets’ losing streak is getting a bit ridiculous, as they dropped their 7th game in a row in Friday’s 125-102 setback at Utah. Brooklyn is now in 6th place in the Eastern Conference, just a half-game clear of being relegated to the play-in tournament. Nonetheless, the Nets are still +350 favorites at FanDuel to win the NBA title.
Today’s Slate

Almost all of the top 25 taking the court
March Madness will be here before we know it, and Saturday might as well be a sneak peek. A total of 21 teams in the top 25 are lacing ‘em up, including four all-ranked showdowns. Among today’s marquee matchups are Baylor vs Kansas and Duke vs North Carolina. Check out all of our CBB picks.
NHL All-Star Game
The NHL All-Star Game is now a four-division tournament. ABC will air the festivities from Las Vegas this afternoon starting at 3:15 pm ET. You can find all of our hockey coverage on the NHL page.
Best Bet of the Day
Duke Blue Devils -3 over North Carolina Tar Heels
6:00 pm ET, ESPN
Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski is making his final visit to Chapel Hill on Saturday evening, and we expect it to go well for him. Possible No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick Paolo Banchero may be the best player in the country and he has been getting plenty of help in recent weeks from AJ Griffin. Fellow freshman Trevor Keels is back from injury now, too. The Blue Devils are as deep as they have ever been at the moment; in turn, they have won four games in a row. North Carolina may be an NCAA Tournament team, but it is nowhere near elite. The Tar Heels have given up at least 80 points in four of their last six contests, so it’s hard to see their defense containing a high-powered Duke squad. Read our full game preview for Duke vs North Carolina.
