Welcome to another wonderful week of sports. Congratulations to new Stanley Cup champions the Colorado Avalanche, and also to College Baseball World Series champs Ole Miss. As for this week’s action, we’re going to have great MLB slates every day and Wimbledon gets started today too, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better!
About Last Night
Avs get it done in Game 6
The Lightning took the lead in their must-win home game in the Stanley Cup Finals last night, but the Avalanche came back to win 2-1 and take the championship in 6 games. It was the Avs’ third Stanley Cup success but their first for 21 years as the Lightning’s brave bid for 3 straight titles came to an end. The Avalanche are clear favorites to go back-t0-back themselves next season, with +500 odds at FanDuel Sportsbook. Game 6 ending with under 6 goals saw Pickswise ending the season on an amazing 9-2 run on NHL totals and we also cashed our last 4 player props!
Yankees suffer record hitless streak but still win
It was a strange Sunday for the Yankees, as the team with the best record in baseball set a record for the longest hitless streak in the league for decades, yet still won and covered on the run line in a 6-3 win over the Astros! The Yankees’ hitting drought reached 16 1/3 innings but they rediscovered their touch and Aaron Judge delivered a three-run homer in the 10th. The Marlins upset the Mets 3-2, the Cubs came back from 5-0 down to beat the Cardinals 6-5 in the 10th, and the Dodgers beat the Braves 5-3 in 11 on Sunday Night Baseball.

Best Bet of the Day
Tennis: Christian Harrison ML over Jay Clarke (-140)
9:30 am ET
American Christian Harrison can win in the first round at Wimbledon this morning. As a British player, his opponent Jay Clarke got into the main draw with a wild card and didn’t have to go through qualifying even though he is ranked well outside the top 100. Nothing about the 23-year-old’s form is inspiring. He is 1-3 on grass this summer despite playing two Challenger events and attempting to qualify at Queen’s Club. So he hasn’t picked up many wins even though he has been facing lower-level competition. Harrison isn’t the toughest of opponents, but the American is playing with confidence because he just won 3 matches to qualify for Wimbledon. The 28-year-old is 9-8 lifetime on grass, whereas Clarke is 10-26. Clarke is also just 2-9 in his career on the main tour. Look for Harrison to capitalize on a great opportunity.
