On the field, the fast-rising Orioles made it 8 straight wins by beating the Angels 9-5, the Marlins beat the Mets 2-0 in 10 innings, the Reds upset the Rays 10-5 and the Red Sox beat the Yankees 11-6 to split their series.
Djokovic delivers
Novak Djokovic was Ricky Dimon’s 3-star play at -120 to win the Wimbledon men’s title and delivered in a 4-set final win over bad boy Nick Kyrgios, with Pickswise going 4-2 over both finals. Don’t miss his picks for this week’s Bastad Swedish Open.

MLB: Chicago White Sox ML over Cleveland Guardians

These AL Central opponents enter this series on quite opposite trajectories. Although they are separated by just half a game in the division, their recent performances would not suggest that. The Guardians just lost by 4 runs to the Royals, the worst team in the division, and were swept in a 4-game series by the Tigers prior to that. Meanwhile, the White Sox are slowly getting healthy and outscored the Tigers 12-2 over the last 2 days.
