About Last Night
The Celtics strike back
The one-sided theme of this week’s NBA playoff games continued on Thursday night as the Celtics beat the Heat 127-102 on the road in a swing of 36 points from Game 1. They had been 4-point underdogs for the game. JutPicks extended our NBA props run to 4-1 with his play of under 24.5 Bam Adebayo points and rebounds.
Road teams roll in NHL
As in the NBA, the road teams prospered in the NHL, with the Lightning going 2-0 up on the Panthers with a 2-1 win, while the Blues evened up their series with the Avalanche with a 4-1 victory. Colorado remains FanDuel’s +195 favorite for the Stanley Cup.
Great day of baseball handicapping.
The Pickswise MLB team went an impressive 6-2 on ML/RL picks yesterday and 5-3 on totals. We cashed our 3-star play of the Astros ML as they beat the Rangers 5-1, while Keith Schmelter was also on the money with his MLB prop play.

Best Bet of the Day
Over 6.5 goals in Edmonton Oilers vs Calgary Flames
10:30 pm ET, ESPN
Containment seems to be an afterthought for the Flames and Oilers when they go head to head. Their 5 matchups throughout the regular season and playoffs have produced 48 goals at an average game total of 9.6. There is potential for even more offense given how much these teams don’t like either other and are prone to getting chippy. There were 7 power plays in Game 1 and there is always potential for more in the battle of Alberta. This looks like another game that should comfortably go over. Read our full game preview for Oilers vs Flames.
