The New York Giants earned a memorable 21-point comeback against the Cardinals last Sunday but the euphoria of that victory is likely to be shortlived as they make the trip to San Francisco to take on the 49ers. The Giants were down 28-7 at one point in that game against Arizona before fighting to a 31-28 success, but star running back Saquon Barkley was lost to injury. The win followed a 40-0 humiliation at the hands of the Cowboys in Week 1 and although last Sunday’s success was the perfect remedy to that defeat, it still showed New York’s struggles as they barely made it past a Cardinals team expected to be among the worst in the NFL this season.
