Dodgers cash Best Bet in dramatic finish
We’ll admit it, we were concerned about yesterday’s MLB Best Bet of Dodgers -1.5 against the Marlins for a while… but they delivered a win for our 3-star play with a 5-run 10th inning to win 10-6, giving us back-to-back Best Bet wins. We also hit with our same game parlay for the Rays vs Red Sox game, which proved a thriller too as the Red Sox won 9-8. Mike Trout became the Angels’ highest-scoring player in a 12-0 win over the Blue Jays, while the Orioles beat the Astros 2-0.
Smith wins Seahawks QB battle
The Panthers, Cowboys, Saints and Raiders completed their NFL preseason campaigns with wins on a 2-1 night for the Pickswise NFL handicappers. Baker Mayfield looked good at QB in the Panthers’ 21-0 win over the Bills, while Pete Carroll announced that Geno Smith has won the Seahawks’ QB battle with Drew Lock and will start in Week 1.

Super Bowl rerun tops NFL preseason slate
There is a busy 8-game NFL preseason slate today, including a rerun of this year’s Super Bowl between the LA Rams and Cincinnati Bengals at 6:00pm ET on NFL Network, which could be spicy after their practice field fight this week.
