It’s another big day in the world of sports, so let’s get right to it and make your next bet better with Wise n’ Shine!
About Last Night
Florida Atlantic continues run, UConn dominates
Florida Atlantic, a #9 seed, has made it all the way to the Final Four after scraping past Kansas State 79-76. Saturday’s Elite Eight nightcap was much more of a snooze-fest, as UConn humiliated Gonzaga from start to finish en route to an 82-54 victory. Our experts cashed both of their ATS picks on those games.
Hawks score 143 points despite Young’s ejection
Trae Young scored only 14 points before getting ejected in the third quarter for throwing a basketball at a ref, but the Hawks still put 143 as a whole in an easy win over the Pacers. Eight different Atlanta players scored in double-figures. The Nets, Nuggets, Kings, Pelicans and Suns also found the winners’ circle on Saturday.
Thirty teams take the ice in the NHL
Fifteen games. Thirty teams. That was the tally in the NHL on Saturday. Among the winners were Boston (what’s new?!?!), Seattle, Carolina, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, Vegas and the Rangers.

NHL double-header on NHL Network

Best Bet of the Day
NBA: Memphis Grizzlies -2 (-110) over Atlanta Hawks
6:00 pm ET, BSSE
The Grizzlies are riding a 5-game winning streak heading into Sunday’s date with the Hawks. This is the second and final head-to-head meeting of the season, with Memphis having rolled 128-103 back on December 12. Look for Ja Morant and company to get the best of Atlanta again and extend the current streak to 6 victories. They have averaged 130 points per game in their 5 recent wins while shooting better than 52 percent from the floor, which ranks #1 in the league during this stretch. Meanwhile, the Hawks played against Indian last night and they have lost 5 consecutive contests that were the second leg of back-to-back situations.

Quote of the Day
“When [Texas head coach Rodney Terry] had to step into his role, he had to command the respect of his players first. They bought into whatever he said, whatever he did, hook, line and sinker. They are an outstanding team.”
— Miami head coach Jim Larranaga in advance of Sunday’s Elite Eight showdown against Texas
