Timberwolves avoid sweep in OT
There was plenty of drama in Sunday’s NBA playoff games, with the Knicks going 3-1 up against the Cavaliers, the Warriors beating the Kings by 1 point to get back to 2-2, the Celtics winning on the road in Atlanta to go 3-1 up and the Timberwolves avoiding a sweep with a 114-108 overtime win over the Nuggets. We cashed our Kings vs Warriors Same Game Parlay at +637 odds.
NHL road teams go 4-0
All 4 NHL series in action yesterday started with a 2-1 score and the Hurricanes and Bruins stretched their leads to 3-1 with comfortable road wins over the Islanders and Panthers respectively. The other games, however, saw the Stars and Oilers complete a sweep for the 4 road teams to tie up their series against the Wild and Kings. We cashed our only 3-star play on the Oilers ML and hit a +220 NHL player prop as Evander Kane scored for Edmonton.
Rays win 13th straight home game
It was a good Sunday all round for our baseball cappers as we went 10-6-1 overall on picks. 3-1 on best bets and 2-0 on MLB props. The 2023 Tampa Bay Rays continued their amazing start, with yesterday’s 4-1 victory over the White Sox being their 13th straight home win to start the season, matching the 2009 Dodgers for the second-longest home win streak to start a season since 1901. They are now targeting the 1907 New York Giants’ record of 15.

Like yesterday, all 4 NHL playoff series have a team leading 2-1 heading into Game 4. The 4-game Monday slate begins with Devils vs Rangers at 7:00 pm ET on ESPN. Maple Leafs vs Lightning and Golden Knights vs Jets follow, before the action concludes with Avalanche vs Kraken at 10:00 pm ET on TBS. Check out today’s NHL picks.

NHL: New York Rangers ML over New Jersey Devils (-150)

The Devils were able to get their first win in this series in overtime on Saturday as rookie goaltender Akira Schmid stopped 35 of 36 shots. However, the Rangers dominated the play, had 12 more shots than the Devils and will be kicking themselves after going 0/5 on the power play.
