Suns roast NBA champions
There were only 4 NBA games on Wednesday but that was enough for some interesting results. The Phoenix Suns outshone NBA champions the Golden State Warriors in a 134-105 win, while the Oklahoma City Thunder got their first win — as 10-point underdogs — beating the Clippers 108-94. That cashed our 3-star Best Bet of under 220.5 in the Clippers-Thunder game, while Germantas Kneita had a 2-0 day on our NBA player props.
NHL totals run reaches 15-5-1
The Pickswise team went 7-3 on our NHL over/under totals on Wednesday’s slate, taking our run over the last 3 days to 15-5-1. The 6-1-0 Bruins and 6-2-0 Golden Knights both registered their 6th wins of the season, beating the Stars 3-1 and the Sharks 4-2 respectively.
Champions League success
Our soccer expert went 3-1 on Tuesday’s Champions League best bets, including cashing our 3-star play on over 3.5 goals in RB Leipzig vs Real Madrid, which finished 3-2 to the German team.

There are only 3 NHL games today but that includes a TNT doubleheader featuring the Battle of New York between the Rangers and Islanders at 7:30 pm ET and Lightning vs Ducks at 10:00 pm ET. We have NHL picks for today’s games.

The Nuggets have also disappointed over the first 4 games of the season, going 2-2. They were beaten 135-110 by Portland but they have a perfect opportunity to bounce back against the struggling Lakers at home. The Nuggets are 8-3 SU in their last 11 games played on a Wednesday at Ball Arena. The Lakers are in trouble and things might not improve until they trade away Russell Westbrook.
