Warriors even series at home
The trend of Game 2 home favorites coming off a Game 1 loss cashed yet again on Thursday, as the Warriors dispatched the Lakers 127-120 in what became a rout of a game in the second half. The series will head to Los Angeles on Saturday, where the Lakers opened as 2.5-point home favorites.
Leafs lose again
The Florida Panthers have now won 5 straight games since trailing 3-1 to the Boston Bruins, as the Cats took down the Leafs on the road once again to take a commanding 2-0 series lead heading back to Sunrise. Elsewhere, the Dallas Stars evened their series at 1-1 with a win over the Seattle Kraken.

He made 5 starts in Seattle after being acquired at the trade deadline and was 2-0 with a 1.42 ERA and a 0.758 WHIP. Castillo made the trade look like Seattle’s smartest decision in years, and he’s continued to impress this season in Seattle with a 2-0 record, 1.14 ERA and 0.676 WHIP in 4 starts. So in 9 starts at home since being acquired by Mariners, Castillo has limited hitters to a .153 batting average with a .409 OPS.
