It’s another big day in the world of sports, so let’s get right to it and make your next bet better with Wise n’ Shine!
About Last Night
Nuggets, Suns close it out, Celtics do not
A pair of NBA playoff series ended on Tuesday, as the Nuggets finished off the Timberwolves and the Suns beat the Clippers. The Celtics, however, failed to close out the Hawks as Trae Young hit a last-second 3-pointer to pull off a 119-117 upset.
NHL game totals parlay is a +477 winner
The Pickswise NHL experts swept their over/under picks in all 3 of Tuesday’s games: the under in Islanders-Hurricanes and Wild-Stars plus the over in Kings-Oilers. That paid out at +477 odds.
Giants walk it off against Cardinals
Tuesday’s NLB slate concluded with a walk-off homer by Blake Sabol of the Giants. His team was down to its last out before he stunned the Cardinals with a 2-run blast to win 5-4. Meanwhile, the Pickswise experts cashed their lone MLB best bet of the day as the Braves covered a -1.5 run line with a 7-4 victory over the Marlins.

Today’s Slate
Three potential close-out games in the NBA
To say that it’s a busy night in the NBA playoffs would be a gross understatement. The Lakers, Heat and Knicks all have a chance to close out their series. Out of the 4 matchups today, only the Warriors and Kings are tied up at 2-2. Read today’s NBA picks.
Crucial Game 5 in Avalanche vs Kraken
The Stanley Cup playoff series between Colorado and Seattle is tied at 2-2 as things shift back to the home of the defending champions. Wednesday’s only other contest pits Boston against Florida, with the league-best Bruins holding a 3-1 advantage. Check out all of our hockey coverage with our NHL picks.
Full 15-game schedule in Major League Baseball
As usual on a Wednesday, there are plenty of afternoon baseball games as teams wrap up one series and head off to various destinations to begin another. It all gets started with Texas visiting Cincinnati at 12:35 pm ET. Don’t miss our MLB predictions.
Best Bet of the Day
NBA: Miami Heat +11 over Milwaukee Bucks (-110)
9:30 pm ET, NBA TV
The Bucks are on the brink of elimination down 3-1 as this first-round series heads back to Milwaukee on Wednesday. They should be able to stay alive, but giving 11 points to an opponent that has owned the series so far is a bit ridiculous. Although Giannis Antetokounmpo is back, he may not be quite 100 percent and the Bucks could not even win with him in Game 4. Miami’s Jimmy Butler was amazing on Monday, going for 56 points. The Heat’s bench has outscored that of the Bucks 91-44 over the past 2 games, and with that kind of discrepancy it’s hard to see the visitors losing by double-digits in Game 5. Check out our full Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks predictions.

Quote of the Day
“We don’t work on it a ton. It was part of our game plan as coaches going into this series. We’re not going to [work on it] because the beauty of us going to a box-and-1 is we don’t really know what we’re doing…which may confuse the other team.”
— Kings head coach Mike Brown on his team’s box-and-1 defense against Warriors guard Stephen Curry
