Bowl season brings excitement
College football’s bowl season continued last night as Toledo defeated Liberty by a score of 21-19 to win the Boca Raton Bowl and Eastern Michigan pulled off the upset against San Jose State by winning 41-27 to win the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. We have more action where that came from as we have plenty of bowl games every day this month, except on Christmas.
Knicks win 8th straight
The holiday season has been treating Knicks fans right as New York won their 8th straight game by a score of 132-94 over the Golden State Warriors. Around the league, the Wizards pulled off a major upset (that our expert predicted!) by beating the Suns 113-110 and the Bulls took down the Heat by a score of 113-103 for just their 5th road win this season.

Nearly a dozen in the NBA
We have an excellent slate in the association tonight as 22 teams will take the court. Some of the eye-catching matchups include the Milwaukee Bucks against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors versus the Brooklyn Nets and the Los Angeles Lakers taking on the Sacramento Kings. The New Orleans Bowl will take place on the Wednesday before Christmas between the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky and the Jaguars of South Alabama. The Jaguars are 10-2 this season, which is the best regular season record they have had in their program’s short history. In fact, South Alabama came close to an undefeated season considering it lost by just 1 point at UCLA and by 4 points against Sun Belt Champion Troy. On the other side, the Hilltoppers finished 8-5 overall but left a bit to be desired when they stepped up in class this season – as their combined record against power conference and bowl-eligible opponents was 2-5.
