Wise n' Shine: NBA and NHL picks, and college basketball and college football best bets for Tuesday, November 15

Good morning, Pickswise Nation. We are without NFL football today, but we do have action in college football, NBA, NHL and college basketball. It’s another big day in the world of sports, so let’s get right to it and make your next bet better with Wise n’ Shine!

About Last Night

Eagles undefeated run ends
The idea of a perfect season is gone for the Eagles as the Washington Commanders beat Philadelphia 32-21 on Monday Night Football. Even though it’s just their first loss of the season, the Eagles are just 1 game up in the NFC East. Our expert Clevta foresaw an Eagles slip, correctly picking Commanders +11 for a sweat-free cash.

Almost total perfection in NBA
Our NBA handicappers came oh so close to a perfect night on totals, going 6-1 on their over/under picks. Meanwhile, the Celtics needed a 4th-quarter comeback to overcome the Thunder.

Another healthy NHL slate

College basketball heats up
We’re slowly getting into the college basketball season, and that means we have a 9-game slate on Tuesday. There are 2 big matchups happening as Kentucky visits Michigan State and Duke travels to Kansas. You can find out our college basketball predictions for tonight.

Best Bet of the Day

NBA: Vegas Golden Knights 3-way money line (-165) over San Jose Sharks
10:00 pm ET, ESPN+

The Knights’ only losses have come from teams that were in the playoffs last season, which the Knights are trying to get to this year. They were decimated by injuries in 2021, but are as close to 100% as they’ve been in what feels like forever. Goaltender Robin Lehner being out was the only real issue heading into the year, but that clearly has not been a problem. The Knights are allowing the 2nd-fewest goals per game behind Logan Thompson, and the defense in front of him has been strong. Given the Sharks have the 3rd-worst net power play and already lost to the Knights by multiple goals in San Jose this season, we should see a similar result on Tuesday night. See our full Sharks vs Golden Knights predictions.
