The Kings won a second consecutive entertaining contest to put the Warriors in a 2-0 hole in that Western Conference first-round series. Meanwhile, the 76ers coasted to a 2-0 lead over the Nets.

It was also a big night for the Kings on the ice, as they scored a last-minute goal to stay alive against the Oilers and then prevailed 4-3 in overtime. In a less surprising result, league-best Boston beat the Islanders 2-1.
Beasts of the NL East
In battles between 2022 National League postseason teams, the Braves blanked the Padres 2-0 and the Mets scraped past the Dodgers 8-6. Atlanta (13-4) has now won 7 games in a row and is gaining on the Rays (14-3) for the best record in baseball. Tampa Bay lost to Cincinnati 8-1.
