Best Bet of the Day
MLB: Texas Rangers vs Minnesota Twins over 8.5 runs (-115)
7:10 pm ET
In their lone head-to-head series this season entering Friday, the over is 3-0 with authority. With 38 runs scored, the totals have gone over by 12.5 total runs, which is good for more than 4 runs over the total per game. When these teams face each other, the total climbs. They both have decent lineups and generally weaker pitching staffs. That is a good recipe for high totals. It is also the combination of team strengths and weaknesses that has led to more game total overs than unders for both teams this season. This pitching matchup presents a great opportunity to reinforce those trends.
Glenn Otto enters this game with a 4.96 ERA and has been prone to high numbers this season. Archer enters this game with a 4.15 ERA and has not made it past 5 innings all season. Offensive production should continue to be prominent in this one.
