MLB games galore
Today’s baseball slate packs a serious punch from start to finish. We start in Pittsburgh, as the Pirates take on the Cardinals at 12:35 pm ET, along with the Cubs against the Tigers at 1:10 pm ET. Other games include a massive AL East showdown between the Blue Jays and Orioles, while the Red Sox and Astros will play the 3rd game of their series in Houston. Read today’s MLB predictions.

It’s second versus last in the Western Conference in the only MLS regular-season game on Wednesday night and Los Angeles FC should have few issues dispatching struggling Colorado. LAFC has work to do, trailing conference leaders St. Louis City by 7 points with only this game in hand but has been in solid form, winning 3 of the last 5 games in all competitions. The Rapids have won only 3 of 23 league games all season but are relatively resolute defensively, allowing only 30 goals, so a low-scoring home win seems a likely outcome.
