There were 29 runs scored as the Diamondbacks took down the Braves 16-13, but both teams also reached double digits as the Mets beat the White Sox 11-10 and the Giants overcame the Reds by the same score. It was less competitive in Chicago, where the Cubs hammered the Nationals 17-3, while the A’s ended an 8-game losing run in a much lower-scoring game, beating the Red Sox 3-0.

Pittsburgh starter Rich Hill is well past his prime, flips hilariously slow pitches up to the plate and rarely records a quality start. Cleveland is starting Aaron Civale, who has been nothing short of magical this season. His 2.65 ERA is due for some regression, but the Pirates’ offense is not likely to be the one that delivers it.
