About Last Night
Dodgers win 9th straight game
The Los Angeles Dodgers are the hottest team in baseball right now and they made it 9 straight wins with a 6-2 home win over NL Central Division leaders Milwaukee. The Brewers weren’t the only first-placed team to lose, though, as the Orioles lost 10-3 to the Padres. The Braves had no issues, though, marching on with a 5-0 win over the Yankees.

Best Bet of the Day
MLB: Under 8.5 runs in Detroit Tigers vs Minnesota Twins (-115)
1:10 pm ET, MLB Network
The Twins beat the Tigers 5-3 on Tuesday night, doing all of the damage in a single inning, and otherwise it was not a great game for the offenses and there should be 8 or fewer runs scored again today. Reese Olson and Kenta Maeda face off in a repeat pitching matchup from their game 6 days ago. Both guys turned in solid starts and the final score was 3-0, with Detroit winning. It was the best start by Olson in a long while, but Maeda has been rolling nicely. Another low-scoring meeting between the teams looks like a solid bet. Read our full Tigers vs Twins predictions.
