Good morning, Pickswise Nation, and welcome to another tremendous Tuesday of sports. We have a full MLB slate to enjoy today with the NFL and college football seasons fast approaching, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better.

About Last Night

MLB Best Bet streak continues
Our 3-star baseball plays remain on a heater. Monday’s Best Bet of the Phillies ML cashed comfortably as they beat the Giants 10-4, a victory that featured an inside-the-park home run by Bryce Harper. That put us on a 4-0 streak with our MLB Best Bets, and the run is now 11-3 since August 11. The Phillies weren’t the only team to reach double figures, though, as the Mets took down the Braves 10-4. The Pirates thrashed the Cardinals 11-1 and the Mariners crushed the White Sox 14-2.

Now you can bet any of our predictions at FanDuel Sportsbook, which has a great new-customer offer to take advantage of. If you sign up for FanDuel right now, you can bet $5 and receive $200 in bonus bets plus $100 off NFL Sunday Ticket! Click here to join FanDuel right now and learn more.

Today’s Slate

Full 15-game MLB slate today
Monday’s baseball slate was reduced to single digits when the Red-Angels game was rained out, but we have a full set of 15 games to look forward to today. Red Sox vs Astros is being shown on TBS at 8:05 pm ET. Read today’s MLB predictions.

Best Bet of the Day

MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates ML over St. Louis Cardinals
7:05 pm ET

Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright has had quite a rough season and has a 3-8 record with a 8.42 ERA and 2.01 WHIP. His August has been a nightmare with 22 hits and 18 runs allowed through 10 innings pitched across 3 starts. Those numbers from a starting pitcher are hard to overcome. Pirates starter Johan Oviedo has a 6-13 record with a 4.55 ERA and 1.34 WHIP. He saw this Cardinals team earlier in the season, pitching 7 innings and allowing just 1 run. With Wainwright struggling, it makes sense to side with the Pirates. Check out our full Cardinals vs Pirates predictions.

You can bet on our Cardinals vs Pirates pick over at DraftKings Sportsbook, which has a great sign-up offer where you can bet $5 and get $200 in bonus bets no matter what! Click here to take advantage and claim your bonus bets right now.

Stat of the Day

The Yankees have lost 8 straight games for the first time since 1995.

Quote of the Day

“I feel like we just had the biggest preseason W in history. It was definitely pretty cool knowing what they had on the line that we could end that.”

Commanders wide receiver Jahan Dotson loved his team’s 29-28 win over the Ravens last night, which ended Baltimore’s 24-game preseason winning streak.
