San Diego has disappointed, too, but I like the pitching matchup for the visitors on Friday. For the series opener at Citizens Bank Park, Yu Darvish will duel Cristopher Sanchez. Sanchez has spent the majority of 2023 in the minors. He has been effective since being called up, but he is the type of guy that can be figured out very easily.That is worrisome against a San Diego squad that ranked 6th against sliders and 7th against changeups in the first half of the season.
