About Last Night

3-0 night for our NBA Best Bets
Our NBA handicappers went 3-0 with our 3-star plays on the Friday action, with Pelicans -4.5, Bucks -3 and over 222.5 in Bulls vs Celtics all cashing. The Cavaliers kept up their great start, moving to 7-1 with a 112-88 win over the Pistons, the Nets crushed the Wizards 128-86 in the first game of Kyrie Irving’s suspension and the Warriors fell to 3-7 with a 114-105 loss to the Pelicans. The Bucks stayed unbeaten at 8-0 with a 115-102 win over the Timberwolves.

Champions win in Finland
The Stanley Cup champion Colorado Avalanche won 6-3 against the Columbus Blue Jackets in Tampere, Finland, yesterday to improve to 5-4-1, while back at home the Hurricanes moved to 8-2-1 with a 5-3 win over the Sabres. Our NHL player prop cashed for the second time in 3 days.

Underdogs bite on Friday night
Oregon State was the only ranked team in college football action on Friday night, but the #23 school lost 24-21 to Washington, although they did cover the spread as 4-point underdogs. Duke beat Boston College 38-31 but also failed to cover.

Best Bet of the Day

CFB: Penn State -14 over Indiana Hoosiers
3:30 pm ET, ABC

Bloomington should be electric this afternoon when the Penn State Nittany Lions come to town to take on the Indiana Hoosiers. The Nittany Lions looked good in defeat to Ohio State last week, leading at halftime and scoring 30+ points for the 6th time this season. The Hoosiers, meanwhile, are riding a 5-game losing streak after suffering a come-from-behind loss to Rutgers their last time out. Their offense has been okay, but they have been absolutely gashed on defense. Indiana has been historically bad in terms of covering, going a dreadful 5-16 ATS in its last 21 games — including 2-5 in its last 7. Read our full Penn State vs Indiana predictions.
