Good morning, Pickswise Nation. In addition to a full Major League Baseball schedule, we also have an NFL Sunday on our hands. There is also soccer (EPL and MLS) to go along with the final round of the BMW Championship. It’s another big day in the world of sports, so let’s make your next bet better with Wise n’ Shine!

About Last Night

YRFI/NRFI bets go 2-0
Our YRFI/NRFI picks improved to 53-31 for the season and 6-2 in the last four days following a 2-0 effort on Saturday. The NRFI was successful in both Astros-Braves and White Sox-Guardians. Speaking of the Astros-Braves World Series rematch, Atlanta came back from a 3-1 deficit in the 10th inning and ended up prevailing 5-4 in 11. The Braves will go for a series sweep of Houston on Sunday.

Perfection in the NFL
Saturday could not have gone any better for the Pickswise NFL team. We cashed all three of our plays, as the Bills took care of the Broncos, the Raiders won and covered against the Dolphins and the Titans beat the Buccaneers. Our +425 parlay was successful, as well.

Today’s Slate

Boston and Baltimore on Sunday Night Baseball
This week’s MLB schedule wraps up with a full 15 games on Sunday, including the long night game between the Red Sox and Orioles. First pitch is set for 7:00 pm ET on ESPN. We will also see the conclusion of some blockbuster series, including Astros-Braves and Mets-Phillies. Be sure to read all of our MLB previews.

Sundays are for football
Thankfully, we have no more football-less Sundays until 2022. Although most of this week’s NFL preseason games were on Saturday, there are three more on Sunday. Check out all of our NFL coverage, which includes a smorgasbord of futures best heading into the regular season.

Best Bet of the Day

MLB: Minnesota Twins ML (-175) over Texas Rangers
2:10 pm ET, ESPN+

Joe Ryan will be on the mound for Minnesota on Sunday. The rookie is going for his 10th win and his third this month. He was shaky against the league-best Dodgers but has been dominating almost any other team he is expected to beat. The Twins have needed him to do so, as they are in a three-way battle with the White Sox and Guardians for the lead in the American League Central. Meanwhile, the Rangers recently fired both their manager, president and other front office members. It’s clear that this franchise is struggling. Texas lost ace Martin Perez’s start to open this series and now are giving the ball to Kohei Arihara for his second start. He just made his first one last week, which was a loss to the American League-worst A’s. Oakland is one of the worst offenses in baseball and still scored in each of the first three innings against Arihara. Ryan and the Twins should be more than good enough to win this one with ease.

With a little more than a month to go in the regular season, action on the baseball diamond is not stopping – and neither is our plethora of betting advice. Make sure to note our +954 mega parlay as well as today’s YRFI/NRFI bets.

As for our football coverage, it continues to heat up. Most recent articles include college football team previews of Boise State, Ole Miss and Wake Forest. We also have a Week 2 preseason NFL parlay at +701 odds on the heels of Saturday’s parlay success.

Stat of the Day

Since joining the Mariners from the Reds, Luis Castillo is 1-0 with a 2.18 ERA and 0.97 WHIP. He is 3-for-3 in quality starts for his new team heading into Sunday’s game against the Rangers.

Quote of the Day

“That’s part of their culture. They say, ‘We’re going to win these games’ and help it build into the regular season. I respect that approach. Obviously their team believes. They have one of the most successful franchises in the league. We’ll get their best shot.”

— Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury on the Ravens, whom his team faces on Sunday. Baltimore boasts a 21-game preseason winning streak.
