It’s perhaps the most underwhelming Sunday Night Football matchup of the 2020 NFL season here as the 2-4-1 Philadelphia Eagles host the 2-5 Dallas Cowboys in a game that could sadly decide who wins the NFC East. While Ben DiNucci’s starting debut might not be enough to excite you, we’ve got a wager with big enough odds to keep you interested no matter what.
A same game parlay with FanDuel or PointsBet offers bettors the chance for a big payout, and enhances the excitement of this huge game. You can check out our full preview of the game, which features picks on the side and total, as well as our other picks for Week 8.
Cowboys money line (+385)
Dalton Schultz over 25.5 receiving yards (-110)
Ezekiel Elliott anytime touchdown scorer (+125)
Elliott over 21.5 receiving yards (-110)
Parlay odds: +2636
I don’t necessarily think the Cowboys are going to win this game, but if they do win I think this parlay is extremely likely to cash, so getting better than 26/1 presents a ton of value.
Cowboys money line (+385)
Like I said above I’m not necessarily expecting a Cowboys win, but I think they’ve got better chances than people are giving them credit for. I think the team will rally around DiNucci, and they aren’t going to just roll over against their bitter rivals. If they win this game they’re in sole possession of first place with Andy Dalton likely coming back next week, so it’s not as if all is lost as the media would have you believe.
The team should come out with a lot more pride after the beatdown they just got from Washington, and this Philly squad certainly isn’t immune to letdowns. Just this past week the Eagles were down double digits late to the lowly Giants before New York choked the game away.
Ben DiNucci (#Cowboys QB) was preparing for the 9-5 work life just one year ago. Now he's the starting QB for Dallas due to Dak and Dalton getting injured.

Dalton Schultz over 25.5 receiving yards (-110)
DiNucci is a seventh-round rookie getting his first real run, so I expect the coaching staff to want to make things as easy as possible for him. That should mean plenty of easy throws over the middle, particularly to his tight end Schultz. Philly’s linebackers are the weakness of their defense, and they’ve been vulnerable to tight ends this season. Schultz has quietly played quite well since Blake Jarwin went down with his ACL tear, and he still managed to get to 22 yards even this past week when Dallas only had 114 through the air as a team.
Ezekiel Elliott anytime touchdown scorer (+125)
If the Cowboys win this game, guess who almost certainly scored a touchdown? Elliott. Despite having a down year overall Elliott has scored six times in seven games, and if Dallas wants to have any hope of winning this one he’s going to need to have a big day. Elliott hasn’t gotten too many rushing attempts the past two weeks since the Cowboys have trailed by huge margins, but if they win this game that certainly won’t be the case.
Elliott over 21.5 receiving yards (-110)
My thinking here is similar to what it is with Schultz. The gameplan will be heavily simplified for DiNucci, which should also lead to plenty of passes going Elliott’s way, both check-downs and designed throws like screens. Elliott has been pretty heavily involved in the passing game already, with at least 24 receiving yards in five of his seven games. If the Cowboys are going to win this one they’ll need some big plays from their star running back, including some chunk plays through the air.
