There are quite a few key injuries in the NFL heading into week 8. This article will serve as a quick overview of all the key injuries for teams in the NFL and how it could affect the team they play for.
LeSean McCoy (Bills): McCoy suffered a concussion last week and is questionable for week 8. Chris Ivory whom is McCoy’s main backup is also questionable for this game with an ankle injury. If both miss the game I look for Marcus Murphy to get the majority of the carries.
Josh Allen (Bills): Allen is questionable again this week with an elbow injury. Derek Anderson struggled last week against the Colts and if Allen misses this game then the Patriots will cruise to an easy win over the Bills.
Allen Robinson (Bears): Robinson is questionable again this week after missing last week with a groin injury. The passing offense really didn’t miss a beat without Robinson, so it shouldn’t affect the team too much this week either.
John Ross (Bengals): Ross is doubtful with a groin injury. Ross missed last week and is starting to look like a bust after being hampered last season with an injury and is injured again this season.
Royce Freeman (Broncos): Freeman is questionable with an ankle injury and if he misses this game I look for Phillip Lindsay to get the majority of the carries.
Randall Cobb (Packers): Cobb is questionable with a hamstring injury and has missed the past few games with the same injury. If he misses this game I look for Marquez Valdes-Scantling to get the start opposite of Davante Adams.
Keke Coutee (Texans): Coutee is doubtful with a hamstring injury. After coming on strong in the previous two games prior to last week Coutee exited the game last week with the injury. Will Fuller will likely get more targets if Coutee misses time.
Leonard Fournette (Jaguars): Fournette is questionable with a hamstring injury. I look for Fournette to miss this game and not return until after the Jaguars bye week. I look for Carlos Hyde to split carries with Yeldon in this game if Fournette misses the game.
Cooper Kupp (Rams): Kupp is questionable with a knee injury. The passing offense didn’t need Kupp last week, but Goff did have his lowest production of the season and will need him against the Packers in a game that is likely to be a high scoring game.
Albert Wilson (Dolphins): Wilson is the leading receiver for the Dolphins and is also their deep threat, but he is out for this game with a hip injury and it is uncertain how long he will be out.
Kenny Stills (Dolphins): Stills is also out with a groin injury. The Dolphins will be without two of their top three receivers, so their passing attack will likely suffer in this game and Parker is likely to see the majority of the targets.
Ryan Tannehill (Dolphins): Tannehill is out with a right shoulder injury. Brock Osweiler will get the start and he has posted decent stats in his other two starts with a quarterback rating of 107.
Dalvin Cook (Vikings): Cook is questionable with a hamstring injury. If he misses the game Latavius Murray would get the majority of the carries.
Sony Michel (Patriots): Michel is out with a knee injury. I look for James White to get the majority of the carries, but I also look for the Patriots to switch to a pass dominate offense without Michel in the lineup.
Quincy Enunwa (Jets): Enunwa missed last week with an ankle injury and is questionable in this game with the same injury.
Marshawn Lynch (Raiders): Lynch was placed on IR with a groin injury which likely means the end of his NFL career.
Matt Breida (49ers): Breida is questionable with an ankle injury he suffered in the game last week. If he is unable to go Alfred Morris will likely see an increase in carries.
