As we move deeper into the season the weather usually starts to wreak more havoc on NFL games. Let’s check out the NFL weather report for each game and see what kind of effect it might have on the outcome.
Bengals @ Ravens: The Bengals and Ravens game is expected to be 44 degrees with zero percent chance of rain. For this time of year in Baltimore, it’s going to be a perfect Sunday for football. The Ravens should be able to air it out and give them maybe a bit of an advantage in this game.
Steelers @ Jaguars: The Steelers and Jaguars game should be a nice 71 degrees with a two percent chance of rain. This is going to set up perfectly for Big Ben to light it up through the air again and gives the Steelers an advantage because of the weather.
Buccaneers @ Giants: The Buccaneers and the Giants face off in New Jersey with the weather expecting to be near perfect. At kickoff, it should be 45 degrees with a one percent chance of rain. This should help the people hoping for the over sitting at 52. With the perfect conditions look for a lot of throwing from both teams, and both teams to put up a ton of points.
Texans @ Redskins: The Texans and Redskins are also looking at some great conditions for their game. It’s expected to be 46 degrees with a two percent chance of rain. The one concern in this game, just like every week in Washington is just how well well the field will hold up. With the temperature being above freezing that should help the field conditions a bit.
Broncos @ Chargers: The Broncos and Chargers game should be a nice 74 degrees with a zero percent chance of rain. The big question is how the air quality is going to be during this game. The forest fires are starting to be contained in California but the air quality could still be an issue. It shouldn’t be in the danger zone before kick off, but it could still be a moderate according to the air quality index scale.
Vikings @ Bears: For Sunday Night Football it should be a nice night for football. It is expected to be 26 degrees with a zero percent chance of rain. The big thing to watch going into the game is exactly how windy will the game be. If it is windy that should move the game to the ground and help push the total under. If the wind is under control, I think the play in this game is on the over.
Chiefs @ Rams: The Chiefs and the Rams game was moved from Mexico City to Los Angeles because of the field conditions, but this game could have its own issues. Much like the Chargers game there could be some air quality issues even though it’s supposed to be 61 degrees and no chance of a rain. Although the air quality won’t have a ton of effect on the ground or air game, it won’t be the best conditions for the players to play in.
