Wednesday's NHL mega parlay (+1377 odds): Oilers should be too slick for Stars

There are only 4 games in the NHL tonight, but that’s enough to parlay 3 teams into a bet that will hopefully pay out at just over 13/1. Before we dive in, be sure to check out all of our picks and previews for every game tonight.

Oilers -1.5 (+155)

Coyotes ML (+140)

Capitals ML (+215)

Parlay odds: +1377

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

Edmonton Oilers -1.5 vs Dallas Stars (+155)

The Edmonton Oilers have been one of the hottest teams in the league, winning 8 of their last 10 games including the last 2. They’re entering tonight’s game playing some of their best hockey of the season. Goaltending has been the major difference-maker for the Oilers as of late. Mike Smith has seemingly turned a corner and has been looking unbelievable in the net. He’s won 6 straight games for the Oilers, and in 4 of those contests, he allowed 1 or no goals. He’s coming off back-to-back shutouts. His impressive form should be a big factory in the Oilers covering a 1.5-goal spread tonight. The Dallas Stars are desperate for a win in order to secure playoff positioning, but they struggle to score, averaging just 2.6 goals per game. Take the Oilers on the puck line.

Arizona Coyotes ML vs Chicago Blackhawks (+140)

While not many fans are likely to be tuning into this game, there is some value in the Arizona Coyotes tonight. They have admittedly been a dumpster fire recently, but tonight provides them with a weak opponent and an opportunity to get another win before the end of the season. The last time the Coyotes and the Chicago Blackhawks met, the Coyotes defeated the Hawks 3-2. In 3 meetings this season, Arizona defeated Chicago twice. They’ve performed well against them all season and tonight should be no different. At +140 bettors are getting great odds for a game that could be considered a coin flip. The Blackhawks have been playing just as badly as the Coyotes, winning just 1 of their last 10 games. During that stretch, the Hawks have allowed 4 goals per game. Take the Coyotes on the money line tonight, as they’re heavily undervalued and due for a get-right game.

Washington Capitals ML vs Vegas Golden Knights

These teams are trending in opposite directions. The Washington Capitals are on a 2-game winning streak and have just clinched a playoff spot. Their most recent win was against the Colorado Avalanche, the best team in the league. The Vegas Golden Knights, on the other hand, have lost 2 in a row and are slowly watching their playoff hopes disappear. Both teams are entering tonight’s game thinking this is a must-win. The Caps are 1 point away from improving their playoff position, with a game in hand, while the Knights are 4 points out of a playoff spot. Both teams will be playing intense hockey, and this could be considered tonight’s best matchup. The Capitals are undervalued for this game. They’ve been averaging 4.3 goals per game over their last 10 and the Knights are riddled with injuries. Robin Lehner is expected to start for Vegas and he has looked shaky, losing 3 of his last four starts, and allowing 3 or more goals in each of those games. Take the Caps on the money line.
