This parlay is paying out just under a 13/1 odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Maple Leafs vs Lightning Draw (+330)

Wild -1.5 (+190)

Parlay odds: +1247

Let’s break down each of the legs one by one.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs Tampa Bay Lightning Draw (+330)

The Toronto Maple Leafs shocked a lot of hockey fans in Game 1. After a dominant night on the penalty kill and a shutout for Jack Campbell, the Leafs are an even bigger favorite for tonight’s game. While there isn’t much value when it comes to choosing a winner, the value is predicting the match to go to overtime. After a brutal performance in Game 1, the Tampa Bay Lightning are set to bounce back in tonight’s game. They were shut out 5-0 and showed no sign of life on the powerplay, going 0-6. It will be nearly impossible for them to look any worse and they will need to play one of their best games of the season in an effort to tie the series. After a dominant performance by the Leafs, it’s hard to imagine that they fold easily, especially on home ice. These teams match up well against each other and this second meeting will most likely be a tighter matchup. Their first meeting of the season was a 2-1 OT victory for the Leafs. Expect this meeting to play out similarly. The Leafs played such a flawless first game, expect them to run into some resistance tonight. But after such a convincing win, it’s hard to imagine either side going out without a fight. Take this game to go to overtime. For most bettors their sportsbooks will consider it to be a draw.

Minnesota Wild -1.5 vs St. Louis Blues (+190)

Even though it is only the second game of the series, this should be considered a must-win night for the Minnesota Wild. After an embarrassing home-ice performance in Game 1, the Wild are in desperation mode. If the Wild were to drop the first 2 games on home ice, their chances of winning this series will plummet. The Wild were shut out 4-0 in the first game. One of the smartest bets in hockey, especially in the playoffs, is betting on a team to bounce back after an embarrassing performance. Both of these teams are so evenly matched  that their games should be considered a coin flip. Today, expect the puck to be bouncing in the Wild’s favor. In their first meeting, the Wild outshot the Blues 37-31, outshooting them in all 3 periods. The Wild also had a better night in the faceoff circle, winning the majority of draws. They had a mix of bad luck and ran into a goaltender who stole a game. Expect the Wild to come back better than ever and win this game. Take the Wild on the puck line in tonight’s must-win game.
