MLB pick today: New York Yankees -1.5 over Oakland Athletics (-125), 12:35 pm ET
The Yankees have dominated the series so far, posting wins of 7-2 and 10-5. Those results are typical of the Oakland problem so far this season as they are getting smoked almost every night.
Aside from the weak offense for the Athletics, their pitching hasn’t been great either. Kyle Muller is no different. He has been blasted in most of his starts, and it is likely that the Yankees will do the same to him this afternoon. Considering that Oakland is one of the worst teams in baseball, backing the Yankees on the run line will be our play.

MLB pick today: Pittsburgh Pirates ML over Colorado Rockies (-148), 12:35 pm ET
These two teams have split the first two games of the series, but this afternoon we are expecting a Pirates bounce back win after they got hammered on Tuesday. The Pirates will start Rich Hill, who has been solid for most part, despite a few shaky starts recently.
The Rockies will counter with Anthony Senzatela, who is making just his second start of the season and is unlikely to pitch deep into this game. Frankly, the Rockies have been far too inconsistent in all aspects, so for that reason, backing the Pirates to win will be our play.

NBA pick today: Miami Heat vs New York Knicks – Over 209.5 points (-110), 7:30 pm ET
Simply taking a look at both games where Julius Randle and Jimmy Butler have been healthy in this series, we have seen 191 points in a game where both teams shot worse than 25% from three and 210 points in a game where both teams shot worse than 35% from three. If either team hits around that 35% mark, we should see plenty of scoring. It is also worth noting that this is an elimination game for the Heat which could bring in some ticky-tacky foul calls if the Knicks are trying to extend the game. For that reason, backing the over will be our play.

NBA pick today: Golden State Warriors -7 over Los Angeles Lakers (-110), 10:00 pm ET
Golden State’s Stephen Curry was the only one who played a solid game in Game 4, notching a triple-double with 31 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists. Klay Thompson was a no-show with just 9 points and Draymond Green had just 8 points and 5 turnovers, while Jordan Poole had 0 points.
Going back home for Game 5 is exactly what this team needs. In front of the home fans they’ve won 15 of 18 games, and as the favorite, their record is 12-5 SU in the last 17 games. With elimination on the line, expect to see a full team effort from the Warriors and back them to win and cover.
