MLB pick today: Chicago White Sox -1.5 over Colorado Rockies (-110), 2:10 pm ET
The mound matchup is a total mismatch in favor of the White Sox and with the way the Rockies struggle on the road there is no reason to think that is going to change today. White Sox starter Dylan Cease has been close to unhittable in September, with the White Sox winning by a combined 27-2 in his 2 starts this month. That makes it easy to get behind the Chicago -1.5 run line.

Champions League pick today: Napoli ML over Rangers (-110), 3:00 pm ET
Napoli pulled off the biggest shock of the first round of Champions League fixtures, beating last season’s finalists Liverpool 4-1 in a dominant display. Rangers, in contrast, barely landed a blow on Ajax in a 4-0 loss. The Scottish team has a better record at home in European games, but the superior quality of Napoli should tell. The Italian club is unbeaten this season, winning 5 of 7 games and scoring 17 goals in the process. Napoli should be able to get the better of Rangers in what may be a high-scoring game.

Champions League pick today: Chelsea vs RB Salzburg – Both teams to score (+100), 3:00 pm ET
New Chelsea manager Graham Potter begins his time in charge with the UCL visit of Salzburg after the Blues’ disappointing 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb last week led to Thomas Tuchel being fired the next day.
RB Salzburg tied 1-1 with Milan in its first match of their European campaign, making it 9 of the Austrian club’s last 11 Champions League games that have seen both teams score. They have a number of injuries but have offensive depth which means that they can still cause the EPL team problems. For that reason, backing both teams to score in this match will be the play on Wednesday afternoon.
