MLB pick today: Arizona Diamondbacks vs Philadelphia Phillies – Over 8.5 runs (-105), 1:05 pm ET
Arizona’s Zac Gallen gets the start this afternoon and has been terrible on the road this season. His road ERA 5.88, and he has allowed at least 5 runs in 3 of his 5 road starts. On top of that, he has allowed opponent’s to hit .280 when pitching on the road.
Philadelphia’s Ranger Suarez on the other hand, has only made 2 starts so far, but both of them were poor as he has allowed 7 runs and 12 hits in 6 innings to the Rockies and Cubs. Because Gallen has struggled on the road and Suarez has yet to put together a decent outing, backing the over will be our play.

EPL pick today: Manchester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion – Both teams to score – Yes (-220), 3:00 pm ET
Goals seem highly likely this afternoon as 8 of Brighton’s last 9 Premier League games have featured more than 2 goals and we can expect them to go in for both teams. The visitors have dropped just 2 points on the road in the 7 games since a loss at Tottenham on February 5, but have just 2 shutouts in the last 9 road games. For that reason, backing both teams to score will be our play.

MLB pick today: Washington Nationals +1.5 over San Diego Padres (-120), 7:05 pm ET
Tonight’s pitching matchup will see Washington’s Trevor Williams take on Ryan Weathers for San Diego. If there’s one thing the Nationals do well, it’s hitting against left-handed pitching. On the season, Washington is batting .299 off left-handed pitching, and Weathers has struggled against right-handed batters.
While Williams isn’t a dominant pitcher by any stretch, he has been able to excel at damage control. With the way the Nationals hit against left-handed pitching, Williams should be able to keep them in this game tonight. For that reason, backing the Nationals on the run line will be our play.

NHL pick today: Carolina Hurricanes vs Florida Panthers – Under 5.5 goals (-122), 8:05 pm ET
Both goalies have been outstanding in this series, but one is standing out more than the other, and that’s Panthers’ goalie Sergei Bobrovsky who stopped 32-32 shots last night for his first postseason shutout. Fredrick Andersen had a great game as well, stopping 16-17 shots for a .941 save percentage. With Bobrovsky putting up insane numbers throughout the playoffs, and Anderson also playing solid, backing the under will be our play.
