Carabao Cup soccer pick today: Nottingham Forest +0.5 over Manchester United (+135), 3:00 pm ET
Manchester United eased to a 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford when the teams met in the EPL on December 27, but the Red Devils may have to accept a tie in the road leg of the teams’ Carabao Cup semifinal. Forest’s home form performances have been impressive and they have beaten Liverpool, Crystal Palace, Leicester and West Ham, all in shutouts, at the City Ground this term.
Forest also held Chelsea to a 1-1 tie on January 1 and beat Tottenham 2-0 earlier in this cup run, so they are worth a bet to stand firm against United — which has had a tough run of games recently.

NBA pick today: Orlando Magic -6 over Indiana Pacers (-110), 7:10 pm ET
The Indiana Pacers snapped their 7-game losing streak last night against the Chicago Bulls but face a tough task of playing against the Orlando Magic tonight. The team remains without Tyrese Haliburton and could also be without Andrew Nembhard. With the team on the second night of a back-to-back, fatigue could also play a factor.
With the return of Jonathan Isaac, the Magic have phenomenal length in both their starting and bench units. Their defensive potential was on full show in their last game against the Celtics. They held them to just 98 points despite the visitors being 3rd in offensive rating this season. Without Haliburton running the show, the Pacers have ranked dead last in the league in offensive rating over the last 10 games. For that reason backing the Magic to cover will be the play.

College basketball pick today: Auburn Tigers -4.5 over Texas A&M Aggies (-110), 9:00 pm ET
Auburn has quietly had a great start to this season holding a 16-3 overall record and 6-1 conference record. Like Texas A&M, there are some doubters of this team since they have not beaten anyone great quite yet, but I am confident they can beat good teams in front of their incredible home crowd. Auburn has one of the best defenses in college basketball and will make it hard on Texas A&M to score in this game.
According to KenPom, Auburn’s defense is ranked #2 in three-point percentage, #5 in effective field goal percentage and #11 in adjusted defensive efficiency. For that reason, backing Auburn to win and cover will be the play tonight.

NHL pick today: Vancouver Canucks vs Seattle Kraken Over 6.5 (-130), 10:00 pm ET
Right off the bat we can simply look at the previous 2 meetings between these teams this season. The first was a 9-goal game, while the most recent was an 11-goal shootout at the end of December. Given how the form of these 2 squads hasn’t changed much since then or throughout the season for that matter, there’s no reason not to expect another high-scoring matchup.
