The Western Conference champion Vegas Golden Knights still lead 2-1 in the Stanley Cup Finals, but the Eastern Conference champion Florida Panthers have made it a series following Florida’s overtime victory in Game 3 earlier this week. With what was pretty much a must-win success for the Panthers, the home team has gotten the job done on all 3 occasions so far in this best-of-7 showdown.

Golden Knights vs Panthers money line pick: Panthers ML (-115)
Florida pulled off another overtime win to bring the series to 2-1 in favor of Vegans, but it still has a ton of work left to do. The Panthers may have gotten the win, but there are still parts of their game that need to be improved. They finished with 24 turnovers in Game 3 and had no success on the power play. The Panthers need to get better in both areas to have a chance to win this game. Sergei Bobrovsky played a strong game and he will have to be just as good in this matchup. Florida has had success on home ice and should be able to tie this series up if they can reduce the turnovers and get some momentum on the power play. The Panthers need to continue to make sure that Bobrovsky is seeing the puck, because he can’t stop what he doesn’t see. This game will likely be a close one, but the home team should be able to take care of business now that Bobrovsky appears to be back in business and back to his old self following a brief hiccup in Vegas.
Golden Knights vs Panthers over/under total goals pick: Under 5.5 (+105)
We have seen the total be higher in previous games, but even at 5.5 the under is the way to go in what will likely be a competitive, low-scoring contest. Both teams are very good defensively, although Florida needs to do a better job of killing penalties. Neither team has been good on the penalty kill, but Vegas has been able to keep the Florida power play in check. Despite forcing 24 turnovers, the Golden Knights were only able to score a total of 2 goals. We can expect the Panthers to clean that up and do a better job of controlling the puck, so it’s hard to imagine this game being loaded with scoring chances. If both teams stay disciplined and limit scoring chances, then there is no reason to think that we will see at least 6 goals being scored.
