RB Salzburg to beat Lokomotiv Moscow – Money Line (-177), 12:55 p.m ET
Slick Austrian team RB Salzburg play like they are pumped full of the energy drink who bankroll their team, and they should have too much quality for Lokomotiv Moscow.
Salzburg tied the reverse game 2-2 but dominated with 15 shots to Loko’s five. They had seven on target but conceded late and an 85th-minute strike from Joao Felix cost them points away to Atletico Madrid.
Last time in Europe, Salzburg left an impression on Bayern Munich. They won the shot tally 19-11 and managed an astonishing 11 attempts on target away to the Champions League holders, only to lose 3-1.
Their performances have been good enough to get the win in Russia.
Atletico Madrid to beat Bayern Munich – Money Line (-114), 3 p.m ET
Bayern Munich has already qualified for the next round of the Champions League and has more important matters on the horizon, like a Bundesliga heavyweight clash with RB Leipzig on Saturday.
They have many injuries and have also decided to rest Robert Lewandowski and Manuel Neuer, leaving them short of quality in both penalty boxes.
Atletico is desperate for the points and should have the ability to pick up all three.
Borussia Monchengladbach to beat Inter Milan – Money Line (+220), 3 p.m ET
This is the last chance saloon for Inter Milan, who has suffered a shocking European campaign and is on the verge of elimination. Counter-attacking kings Monchengladbach can take full advantage of Inter’s desperation and hit them on the break.
The Germans have already beaten Shakhtar home and on the road, and have taken points off Inter and Real Madrid. They conceded late against both to deny them famous wins but are clearly playing well.
Liverpool vs. Ajax – Over 2.5 Total Goals (-240), 3 p.m ET
EPL champions Liverpool were lucky to concede only once to Brighton on Saturday in a 1-1 tie, but they are blessed on offense with summer arrival Diogo Jota particularly impressive since his move from Wolverhampton.
Ajax has scored 42 goals in ten Eredivisie games this season and was involved in a 2-2 tie away to Atalanta earlier in the European campaign. That suggests the Dutch team are capable of troubling Liverpool’s injury-hit defense.
