MLB pick today: Boston Red Sox +1.5 over Tampa Bay Rays (-150), 6:40 pm ET
Tonight, Tampa Bay will have their ace, Shane McClanahan, on the mound against a Red Sox lineup that is missing right-handed power bat Adam Duvall but still poses several threats, including Rafael Devers. The Red Sox are a top-five offense this season in run value/100 off fastballs and changeups, which are McClanahan’s primary strike-throwing weapons.
Boston has a much-improved bullpen that ranks top-10 in MLB in xFIP this season, so because they are starting stud pitcher Garrett Whitlock, backing Boston to keep this game within a run will be our play.

NHL pick today: New Jersey Devils 3-Way ML over Buffalo Sabres (-120), 7:00 pm ET
The Buffalo Sabres have been especially bad in the 2nd half of the season, as they’ve allowed the 4th-most goals per game since the start of 2023.
Meanwhile, the New Jersey Devils have been strong all season, allowing the 7th-fewest goals per game. This is still a game New Jersey wants to win as they build momentum into the postseason, so backing them to do just that will be our play.

NHL pick today: Philadelphia Flyers ML over Columbus Blue Jackets (-170), 7:07 pm ET
It is a battle between two Metropolitan Division opponents tonight when the Columbus Blue Jackets take on the Philadelphia Flyers. These teams have played three times this season, with the Blue Jackets owning the 2-1 record (1-1-1 for the Flyers). Despite that, the Flyers have a much better team than Columbus, which is proven by the fact they have 5 more wins and 15 more points.
The Blue Jackets do not need this win as they are very close to finishing last overall which would give them the bets odds at winning the draft lottery and selecting first overall in the upcoming draft. For that reason, backing the Flyers in their final home game will be our best bet.

NBA pick today: Atlanta Hawks vs Miami Heat – Under 226.5 points (-110), 7:40 pm ET
It was a wild final day of the regular season with tons of points scored across the board, but now with the play-in tournament coming up, the tempo of games should slow down drastically. Miami is one of the toughest defenses to score against in the NBA and for a team like Atlanta that attempts the 3rd fewest threes per game, that could be an issue. The under has cashed in 8 of the last 10 meetings between the two teams, while an average of 217.8 points per game has been scored during that stretch. For that reason, backing the under will be our play.
