Champions League pick today: Porto ML over Inter Milan (+150), 4:00 pm ET
A 1-0 win for Inter in the first leg has left some work to do as they head to Portugal for the second game. Inter’s confidence may also be affected by their lack of success on the road after losses in back-to-back Serie A games at Bologna and Spezia.
Porto on the other hand, remains strong on its own field and should be encouraged by group-stage home successes over Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid. Inter has won just 3 of its last 9 road games overall, so for that reason, backing Porto to win will be the play.

College Basketball pick today: Southeast Missouri State Redhawks vs Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders – Over 156 points, 6:40 pm ET
The Islanders’ offense was excellent for most of the season, averaging 80.6 ppg to rank inside the Top 20 in the country while draining 3-pointers at a solid 36.6% clip. Defensively, the Islanders allow 72.9 ppg, and the over has cashed in 4 of their last 5 games.
On the flip side, SE Missouri State went 15-16 during the regular season, but have re-discovered their offense recently, going for 84 or more points in the OVC tournament, and cashing the over in 3 of the 4 games. Defensively, the Redhawks are allowing 76.5 ppg, which was near the bottom in the nation. Because of their poor defense, backing the over will be the play tonight.

NHL pick today: Boston Bruins -1.5 over Chicago Blackhawks (-170), 8:37 pm ET
The Bruins are on pace to be the best team in the history of the NHL’s regular season, while the Blackhawks have been at or near the cellar of the league since opening night. Boston won 10 straight games out of the All-Star break and are 11-2 in their last 13 games. They have also won 7 of their last 8 games on the road, and won the lone matchup with Chicago this season by a score of 6-1. Because Boston is also the 2nd best offense in the NHL and the best defense, backing them on the puck line will be the play.

College Basketball pick today: Pittsburgh Panthers vs Mississippi State Bulldogs – Over 132.5 points (-115), 9:10 pm ET
The books haven’t bumped up the total very much for Mississippi State games, but the defense for the Bulldogs has been allowing a few more points than earlier in the season. Mississippi State has coughed up 68 or more points in each of the past 4 games, and the over has cashed in 7 of their last 9, as the offense has been somewhat functional, going for 68 or more points in 7 of their last 9 games.
For the Panthers of Pittsburgh, this is a team that put up a healthy 75.9 ppg this season, hitting triples at a 36.0% clip to rank 79th overall. Pitt is also good free-throw shooting team, going for 75.7%, one of the best in the ACC. Defensively, they are about average, and Mississippi State should be able to use its newfound offense to at least get into the high 60s. For that reason, backing the over will be the play.
