We are heading into week eight of the NFL season which means it’s another chance to make your fantasy football team better by hitting up the waiver wire. Below we will break down some of the best fantasy football waiver wire options to target to make your team a winner this weekend.

Kenjon Barner Patriots Running Back

Bill Belichick loves using a lot of different running backs and with Sony Michel fair share of snaps against the Bills. He will be a good RB2 or maybe a flex play. This probably isn’t going to be a long-term solution for your team because Michel’s injury is only going to keep him out a short time, but if you need a good running back this weekend he is a good option.

Chris Ivory Bills Running Back

This is an interesting situation because it’s unclear if LeSean McCoy is going to be able to go on Monday night against the Patriots. McCoy is the concussion protocol and it’s unclear if he is going to be able to go. If he isn’t able to go Ivory is probably a running back one option. In week three Ivory racked up 126 yards against a good Minnesota Vikings defense when McCoy didn’t go.

Tyrell Williams Chargers Wide Reciever

Tyrell Williams is going to be the top target for people looking to add a wide receiver after what he did in London on Sunday.

He had four receptions for 118 yards and one touchdown. Williams is usually right around three or four receptions a game so he does need the long receptions or a touchdown to get the value but in the last two weeks, he has three touchdowns.

The Chargers are on bye this week but this is a guy that you want to pick up this week and he could win you some leagues later this year.

Tre’Quan Smith Saints Wide Reciever

Tre’Quan Smith was a third-round pick and with the injury, to Ted Ginn Jr he has had to step up. He only has seven receptions for 173 yards and two touchdowns and although he is hard to trust right now he could be a good guy to stash.

The Saints have a lot of weapons so you are going to have to pick and choose when to start him, but he has at least a few more touchdowns left in him this season.

Chris Herndon Jets Tight End

Chris Herndon? Who the heck is that? In the last two games, Herndon has burst onto the scene and it’s clear that Sam Darnold trusts him. In each of the last two weeks he has a touchdown and against the Vikings he four receptions for 42 yards.

If you don’t have a top end tight end, it’s a hard position to figure out, and Herndon should be on your radar if you are looking for a solid tight end who will get you a solid eight or ten points a week.

Case Keenum Broncos Quarterback

Matt Ryan and Phillip Rivers are both on bye this week which means a lot of teams are looking for a quarterback for one week.

Case Keenum of the Denver Broncos is your choice going against the Broncos in a game that should be a shootout. I think Keenum should be able to get you 16-20 points at least.
