For this prop, we will need Tim Anderson and Andrew Vaughn to both record at least 2 total bases in today’s game between the Chicago White Sox and the Houston Astros. Anderson is coming off a season where he hit .301. However, he only played 79 games due to injury.
Vaughn on the other hand, had a solid 2022 season. He hit .271 with 17 home runs and 76 RBI’s. Normally, Justin Verlander would be the Opening Day starter for the Astros, but with Verlander having moved on to the New York Mets, Framber Valdez will take the mound today. Valdez is a solid pitcher, but he is not a Verlander, therefore backing this prop looks to be worth a small play as Anderson and Vaughn should have some success to start the season.

Austin Riley & Michael Harris each over 1.5 total bases – Boosted to +400 with Caesars Sportsbook
This prop will need Austin Riley and Michael Harris to both record at least 2 total bases in this afternoon’s game between the Atlanta Braves and the Washington Nationals. The Braves ended their 2022 season on a sour note, losing to the Philadelphia Phillies in the playoffs and failing to defend their World Series title from the previous season. Riley and Harris both still had excellent seasons last year with Riley hitting 38 home runs and Harris nearly hitting .300.
This Opening Day game will come against a Washington team that is expected to be terrible all season. To make matters worse, the Braves will be up against Patrick Corbin, who had a horrific 2022. Because of the struggles Corbin showed all last season, backing this prop looks to be worth a play.
Aaron Judge & Giancarlo Stanton each over 1.5 total bases – Boosted to +450 with Caesars Sportsbook
For this prop, we will need Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton to both record at least 2 total bases in today’s game between the San Francisco Giants and the New York Yankees. This will be the first game of the season, but it is no secret to what Judge did last season. He had 62 home runs and while he may not reach that number again, we still should expect him to start the season off with a solid performance. A home run is never out of the question, which would easily give him over 1.5 total bases.
Stanton on the other hand, hit just .211 last season, but still homered 31 times. He will be looking for a good start to 2023 as well, and today is a perfect opportunity to show that he can do just that. Both of these guys are expecting to have a good season, therefore backing this prop looks to be worth a small play.
