After a loaded 14-game slate on Saturday, there are just 2 NHL games on the schedule on Sunday. The Lightning visit the Senators and the Hurricanes head to the Ducks to cap off a great week of hockey. We are back to 5 games on Monday and 9 on Tuesday. So these games will serve as both a nice palate-cleanser to the week and an appetizer before next week. This will be a great day of sports and these games should add to the entertainment.

Anthony Cirelli over 0.5 points (+130)
The Lightning had a great win on Tuesday but took a loss on Thursday. One thing was consistent in their first couple of games, though, as they scored 9 goals. They should be able to keep their offensive production going against a Senators team that allowed 3.29 goals per game last season and thus far has allowed 3.5 goals per game this season.
If the Lightning are able to continue their strong offensive form, Anthony Cirelli has a good chance to be in the mix. He centers the second line with Steven Stamkos and Brandon Hagel. Cirelli is also on the second power-play line with Hagel, Tanner Jeanot, Mikhail Sergachev and Conor Sheary. The opportunity should be there for Cirelli to collect at least a point. Getting +130 odds is solid value for this prop for a good player on a strong team.
Sebastian Aho anytime goalscorer (+120)
The Hurricanes are another team that have lit up the scoreboard early in the season. They are 2-0 with 11 goals scored already against what are expected to be a couple of good teams this season. Unsurprisingly, the Hurricanes’ star player Sebastian Aho has a goal and 2 assists with a +2 rating and 20:41 of ice time across the first couple of games. There is no reason why Aho’s production should halt against the Ducks on Sunday.
Aho centers the top line with Michael Bunting and Seth Jarvis. He is also on the top power-play unit with both of those guys plus Brent Burns and Tony DeAngelo. He gets a favorable matchup on Sunday night against a Ducks team that is still firmly in a rebuild. The Ducks have played only one game thus far, but unsurprisingly, they lost 4-1 to the Golden Knights. The Hurricanes have the edge in the lopsided matchup as long as they don’t try to sleepwalk through this game. If they can run up the score, look for Aho to get on the scoresheet with a goal at a generous +120.
