The NHL took a couple of days off this week but is now back in full force. After blank slates on Tuesday and Thursday, there were 14 games on Wednesday and now 15 games on Friday. Today will be a fantastic day of hockey beginning in the afternoon and going all through the night. Hopefully you do not have to work and can soak in every bit of the action. You can also find out our NHL predictions for every game today, but for now, let’s dive into my best NHL prop bets for this mega slate.

William Nylander over 0.5 goals (-115)

William Nylander has had himself a week. He was already having a great season, but then he took the hockey world by storm by showing out in his home country of Sweden during last week’s global series. With a stellar performance overseas, Nylander now has a 17-game point streak to start the season. He leads the Maple Leafs with 27 points and has 12 goals just a month and a half into the season.

This is a great player playing on a great team with great players that has a great matchup on Friday. How does that sound? The Blackhawks have been a punching bag and represent a great opportunity for players to pad stats. Nylander consistently plays with other top players in the NHL. Every shift, there is potential for production. The Maple Leafs have a great chance to run up the score. If they do, until he proves otherwise, Nylander has a great chance to contribute to the production.

Jack Hughes over 1.5 points (-110)

Jack Hughes returned from a 5-game injury hiatus picking up right where he left off. He has 2 points in 2 games since returning. Despite missing time and only having played 12 games, Hughes has tallied 22 points which is good for T-10th in the NHL. He was leading the league in points before he got hurt. Hughes is elite enough of a player to continue his rampant production and get right back near the top of the league in points.

The Devils have a soft matchup against the Blue Jackets which should really help Jack Hughes’ cause. The Blue Jackets sit last in the Eastern Conference and have just been plain brutal this year once again. The Devils are on a bit of a slide and really need to collect these 2 points. Look for Hughes to come out with a little extra jam to will his team to win and get them back on track. In doing so, he should have a good chance to tally a couple of points.
