This line jumped off the page to me today. Gordon has 4+ first-quarter points in 8 of his last 9 games. In that span, he is averaging 6.7 first-quarter points and has already played the Lakers in that stretch. Gordon has scored 8 opening-quarter points against the Lakeshow in both matchups this season. LA will likely shift their attention to limiting Nikola Jokic and to a lesser extent Jamal Murray if he plays. I assume Murray gives this game a go despite his questionable tag, but if for some reason he sits, I like this bet even more.
