After a day off from the Association yesterday, the NBA is back with a 12-game slate tonight. Let’s dive into our best NBA player prop bets for Wednesday, November 6. You can also find out our NBA picks for all the big matchups today and throughout the entire 2024-25 season.
Caleb Martin (PHI) Under 9.5 points (-113)
Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Caleb Martin was a big get for the Philadelphia 76ers in free agency this off-season. He will fill in nicely when the 76ers are at full strength and will be an essential piece on both ends of the floor down the stretch. But from a scoring perspective and as a #4 scoring option in the lineup tonight, I’m fading Martin. With Paul George heaving up 15+ field-goal attempts in his debut, Martin saw his usage rate dip below 7% — well below his season average of 17.5%. With Tyrese Maxey, George and Kelly Oubre hoisting up much of the volume, 9.5 feels too high of a number in the scoring column for Martin.

Christian Braun (DEN) Over 17.5 points+rebounds (-115)
Odds available at Bet365 at time of publishing.
Christian Braun has taken a massive leap forward in his 3rd season in the NBA. It was much needed after the Denver Nuggets lost Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in free agency and Jamal Murray’s early-season struggles that date back to the Olympics for Team Canada. With the Nuggets down Aaron Gordon for tonight and for the foreseeable future due to a calf injury, it’s time for him to continue to make that next stop offensively. Braun will be tested against a stout Oklahoma City Thunder team and defense, but with a floor of around 32-35 minutes, this number feels too low. He’s eclipsed this line in 6 of 7 games to start the season while shooting 54% from the floor.

Tim Hardaway Jr. (DET) Over 11.5 points (-110)
Odds available at BetMGM at time of publishing.
We’re getting a solid number with Tim Hardaway Jr. over 11.5 points compared to other books. The over of 11.5 is available on BetMGM, Caesars and Bet365. When backing a player like Tim Hardaway Jr., who shoots primary three-pointers, getting the better number is extremely important in the long run. Hardaway Jr. was a much-needed acquisition for a Detroit Pistons team that was desperate for veteran leadership and floor spacing for Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey — 2 things he’s done a great job at to start the season. He’s cleared this line in 5 of 8 games while shooting 48% from deep.
