Like most Lithuanians, I started watching basketball from the age of six. I'm based out in London and played basketball at the University of Lincoln here in the UK. I had always had an interest in the NBA but things really took off in the summer of 2010. That year Linas Kleiza led Lithuania to 3rd place at the World Championships and signed with the Toronto Raptors to replace the departing Chris Bosh. I've been a Raptors fan since that day and I've not missed a game since. I've been handicapping games for more than a decade, specializing in player props. We’ve got a monster NBA slate to sink our teeth into tonight with 14 games on tap before the association takes the day off for Thanksgiving. With tons of matchups and player prop bets to look out for, I’ve combed through every game and found my best NBA player prop bets for today. Let’s dive in, while you can also get our NBA picks on the side and total for all the big games on Wednesday, November 27.

Chris Paul (SAS) over 9.5 points (-110)

Odds available at Bet365 at time of publishing.

Chris Paul has been in consistent form for the San Antonio Spurs. The veteran point guard is averaging 10.8 points per game in the month of November. He has also hit the over on this line in 6 of his last 8 games, scoring exactly 9 points on the other 2 occasions. That successful streak includes an 11-point performance against tonight’s opponents, the Los Angeles Lakers. Paul is currently on pace to attempt more three-pointers per game than in any of his last 6 seasons, averaging 5.2 per game. The Lakers are just 22nd in opponent three-point percentage this season so he should be well-positioned to convert several of these. His ability to dominate in the mid-range should help keep Anthony Davis from impacting his shots, too. Expect CP3 to put together another steady performance.

Tyrese Haliburton (IND) over 3.5 made threes (+105)

Odds available at FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Tyrese Haliburton is starting to come alive for the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers’ guard has put together 3 strong shooting performances in a row, hitting the over on this line in each of them. The last of these games saw him attempt a season-high 18 three-pointers, with the guard knocking down 9 of them. His opponents tonight are the Portland Trail Blazers, who have hardly chased opponents from the three-point line, ranking 18th in opponent attempts per game this season. Considering the hot shooting hand Haliburton is carrying into this game, I expect him to get a fair share of attempts here. He has shot at a 40% clip at least in each of his last 3 games, attempting 10+ shots in those contests. Against an undersized opponent in Anfernee Simons, do not expect him to shy away here.

Jared McCain (PHI) over 19.5 points (-120)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Jared McCain looks to be a standout rookie for the Philadelphia 76ers. His 18-point performance in his last outing was the first time in 8 games in which he failed to reach the 20-point mark. It was also the only game during that stretch that he failed to reach 30 minutes of playing time as the 76ers got blown away. While they are 5.5-point underdogs tonight, another blowout for Philly is not expected. And with Joel Embiid confirmed to be out, he should see no shortage of attempts tonight.

McCain has been a marksman from deep, making 41.7% of his three-point attempts per game. He also does not waste freebies, knocking down 92.7% of his free-throw attempts. His opponents tonight are the Houston Rockets, who are foul-prone. In November, they rank 24th in opponent free-throw attempts per game. Look for the rookie to exploit this on his way to another great scoring performance.
