The NCAA Tournament has ended and we are in a full sprint now to the NBA Playoffs. In true all-or-nothing fashion, the NBA has a 14-game slate after taking last night off entirely. This could be the biggest slate of the season so far if my memory serves me correctly. There is still seeding to be determined in the middle of the Eastern Conference (#3-#8), while the Western Conference from #4 down is still up for grabs. Injury news this past week has been tough to maneuver with late scratches coming just before tip-off, but we will do our best to avoid those situations. Let’s dive into my best NBA player prop bet for today’s action, while you can also find out our experts’ NBA picks for today’s huge slate.
Jrue Holiday (BOS) over 4.5 rebounds (+125)
Odds available at Bet365 at time of publishing.
Jrue Holiday returns to Milwaukee for the 2nd time this season and hopefully this one is more memorable. He logged only 18 minutes for 4 rebounds and 6 points. In his other matchup against Milwaukee this season, he grabbed 8 rebounds in 35 minutes. This line is attractive at plus-money odds and the reason I love it is that Milwaukee’s shot profile matches where Jrue excels in the rebounding column. He grabs 12.5% of Boston’s long-mid range rebounds, 12.79% of above-the-break three-pointer rebounds and 10.5% of corner-three rebounds. For Milwaukee, they’re 3rd in the league at mid-range shots, 13th in corner three-point attempts and 7th in above-the-break threes over the last 5 games. 1u
