The last week of the NBA regular season is in full effect, with plenty of teams looking to move up in the standings. Let’s dive into the best NBA player prop bets for Tuesday, April 8.

You can also find out our expert NBA picks for today’s big games.

Mike Conley (MIN) Under 4.5 assists (-115)

Odds available at Bet365 Sportsbook at time of publishing

Mike Conley has been my favorite fade of the 2025 season. An aging veteran on a team with plenty of talent behind him, causing him to see less usage by the game. In the last game, he finished with four assists on five opportunities, with two of them coming in the last 5 minutes of the game, when he usually doesn’t close. At a playable price, Mike Conley under 4.5 assists will continue to find my betting card, as long as he’s logging less than 28 minutes per game.

Darius Garland (CLE) Under 12.5 rebounds+assists (-115)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing

The pace-up spot versus Chicago, plus the fact that Donovan Mitchell is sidelined tonight, makes the other side of Darius Garland under 12.5 rebounds+assists interesting, but the Bulls have already ruled Coby White out. At the same time, Nikola Vucevic and Josh Giddey are questionable on the first leg of a back-to-back. It could very well be a punt game for the Bulls.

The Cavaliers have virtually locked up the #1 seed in the Eastern Conference, as they are four games ahead of the Celtics with four games to play. As 12.5-point home favorites with plenty of injury news to come via the Bulls side, I’ll side with Garland taking a backseat and potentially playing less than 30 minutes tonight.
