Out of the 5, the obvious one that stands out is the Timberwolves (on a back-to-back) at home against the Denver Nuggets. Could this be a Western Conference Finals preview? With the way Anthony Edwards is playing of late, I would not be surprised. It will also be very interesting to see what team the Washington Wizards can field tonight as they will be without Deni Avdija, Tyus Jones, Marvin Bagley and Bilal Coulibaly. However, my best NBA player prop bet comes from Hornets vs Magic, as I look to continue my red-hot 7-1 run. The Magic are at home tonight against the Hornets as 13-point favorites. This season when they’re a home favorite, they are the 2nd-best in the NBA straight up with a 16-2 record. For Carter, he’s been playing very well of late. He’s had a consistent 27-29 minutes per game and has cleared this line in 6 of his last 7 and had 9 rebounds against Charlotte in their only meeting earlier this season. The reason I’m honing in on Carter tonight is that the Hornets are shooting the 8th-most above-the-break three-point attempts over their last 10 games, but at an abysmal 30% rate. Carter has the 2nd-highest rebounding rate of above-the-break threes on the team and first among starters. Add in the Magic ML to bring down that juice from -130/-145 to a digestible -116 for 1u.
