After a massive slate on Monday, NBA Tuesday presents bettors with just a 4-game slate and 3 teams on the second leg of a back-to-back. Let’s dive into my best NBA player prop bets for tonight’s action. I’m currently on an 8-1 run with my NBA props so let’s keep the momentum going! You can also find out our expert NBA picks for the big games on Tuesday, March 11.

Cameron Johnson (BKN) Under 24.5 points+rebounds+assists (-115)

Odds available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.

The Brooklyn Nets are fresh off a win last night over the LeBron James-less Lakers in dramatic fashion. Cameron Johnson finished with 18 points and even missed 2 free-throws to ice the game with 3 seconds left. But that was with Cam Thomas inactive. Thomas is good for upwards of 16+ field-goal attempts and a 22.5 points line — meaning he will eat into Johnson’s usage. To no surprise, D’Angelo Russell was ruled out. Nonetheless, I’m fading Johnson in this matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers as 18.5-point favorites.

Carlton Carrington (WSH) Under 4.5 assists (-130)

Odds available at Bet365 Sportsbook at time of publishing.

Carlton “Bud” Carrington has enjoyed a solid rookie season and will be a viable option for the Wizards future. But this isn’t a great spot for Carrington against a Detroit Pistons defense that is as stout as it comes and is riding the top defensive efficiency rating over the last 15 games. Not to mention that Khris Middleton and Marcus Smart should be active for this one; those veterans will eat into his minutes.

Unsurprisingly, I’m fading another player on a back-to-back as double-digit favorites. With the Wizards tanking, we could get hit with some injury news, like Jordan Poole sitting or Bilal Coulibaly sidelined with the injury that held him out of the 2nd half, but this is a prop and price I’m willing to back — especially with FanDuel pricing this down to -154.
