If you’re looking for this prop on FanDuel, don’t bother. They’ve nuked Fred VanVleet under 5.5 assists to an unplayable price of -162. But every other major book has this priced at -125 to -130 — a price I’m more than willing to back.
VanVleet will suit up for the first time in over 3 weeks after being sidelined with an ankle injury. I’d be relatively shocked if VanVleet saw his floor of 33 minutes tonight. Taking out the game he sustained his injury in and played just 16 minutes, VanVleet is still under this prop in half the games that he played less than 35 minutes in. As a result, we should see a ton of value in VanVleet going under this number.

Jaren Jackson Jr. (MEM) Over 27.5 points+rebounds (-110)

Jaren Jackson Jr. is enjoying the best season of his young career, which will likely end with him being elected to an All-NBA Team and a deserved max contract. We’ll look ahead to Tuesday night, where the Grizzlies will play host to the dreadful Suns, with the game total set at a sky-high 245.5 points — the highest of any game on tonight’s slate.
The Grizzlies’ rotation is unlike any other team. They play 10 players with significant minutes, including Jackson, who is just behind Desmond Bane in most minutes per game. His minutes are baked into the over of 27.5 points+rebounds. He’s surpassed this line in 26 of 40 games when seeing at least 28 minutes of action, including 14/21 at home. I’m expecting him to see plenty of time on the floor, which should be enough for him to go over this modest number.
